Ahmedabad Defenders , One of the 6 Pro Volleyball Teams is a team dedicated to winning Championships, growing new Volleyball fans, providing superior entertainment and add value to the sport of Volleyball.

We are immensely grateful of having the opportunity of Representing the Spirit of Gujarat with an objective to provide a professional platform for Indian Talent , raise the Status of the Sport in the country and to motivate budding players.

The team is owned by Bon Homie Sports Event Management Pvt. Ltd

Mr Ajay Jangra, a known name in the Sport of Volleyball in India, will be leading our team as Head Coach for Season 1 of Pro Volleyball League.

    • Head coach Junior Indian women team (U-19) participated in junior Asian women volleyball championship held at Nakhon Ratchasima Thailand from 23rd to 31st July 2016.
    • Produce 30 players of national caliber while working at DCC Gandhinagar.
    • Won junior and senior state championship within one year of training when in STC Gandhinagar.
    • Head coach Junior Indian women team (U-20) participated in BRICS GAMES held at Guangzhou, China from 17th to 21st June 2017.
    • Work with senior, junior and youth Table Tennis national campers (male & female) from 1/10/17 to 20/10/17 as fitness expert at SAI, NS NIS Patiala.
    • Head coach Indian Youth (U-17) women volleyball team participated in 20th Princess cup, South East Asian volleyball championship held at Nakhon Pathom city, Thailand from 13th to 18th May 2018 and got Silver Medal.
    • Head coach Indian youth (U-17) women volleyball team participated in 12th Asian Youth women volleyball championship held at Nakhon Pathom city, Thailand from 20th to 27st May 2018.

    I am at present the coach at sports hostel rohru in HP. I work with Indian junior team as wel senior team since 2007 to 2013 in junior as Wel sr Asian championship. First I got chance to work with M H Kumara Chief coach of Chennai Spartan in the league, where we participated in Tehran in Asian championship but in 2009 Jr world championship was held in pune in India and it was in the history first time India got 4th position,after this I was called to work with Sr India team where 3 Arjuna Awardee, kapil, Sanjay and Tom was with team but this time I got opportunity to share experiences with Shyam sunder sir who was the national coach too team participates in Asian sr championship at philliphins, and after this again I got opportunity to work with a other Dronacharyaa Awardee sh Sridharan sir for Olympic qualification tournament at China. I am lucky I did work with all 3 Droncharya Awardee as another Dronacharyaa Awardee sh A Ramana Rao teach me in FIVB level 1and Level 2.i am NIS qualified coach Patiyala with A grade in 2002 .i was working earlier an girls hostel jubbal where my team got silver in school national and one of trainee shivani chauhan was captain of junior India team for Asian championship and at present in chandigarh Jr national HP playing final today where 4 players are from my hostel. Pankaj Sharma who is playing for u, muma is my trainee in 2004 to 2006 in h p.
